The Salvatierra country hotel is located on the banks of the Santa Teresa reservoir in the historic medieval village Salvatierra de Tormes.

Among our facilities we have a beautiful library overlooking the reservoir, bar, restaurant, garden, free parking and free WI-FI Internet access throughout the hotel, which we hope will make your stay as pleasant as possible.

The Double Rooms have air conditioning, TV, mini-bar, telephone, desk, free Wi-Fi Internet, bathroom with bathtub or rain shower and hairdryer.
The Duplex Suites, Ideal for families, in addition to the other amenities, have two floors, a seating area and terrace overlooking the reservoir.

Throughout the year, the hotel’s guests can enjoy our Chef’s special menus for €12, much appreciated by our guests.
We also have a children’s menu for €8.

- Opening hours from 12:30 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00.
- Saturdays, Sundays and holidays we have uninterrupted opening hours of 12:30 to 23:30.
- You will have to inquire at the hotel for reservations outside these times.
Surroundings | Far from urban noise
Due to this fact, remnants of another time are preserved unchanged in Salvatierra today in every detail, in its streets and doors, on the coats of arms on its houses… transporting us to another era.
The villa is bathed by the waters of the Santa Teresa reservoir, with enormous ecological, environmental and landscape value. The landscape is complete with wide expanses of Salamanca grassland and beautiful views of the Sierra de Béjar.
In the vicinity you can visit places of tourist interest. We recommend places like Candelario, a mountain village with great charm, the historic city of Salamanca, and the Sierra de Francia: Mogarraz, La Alberca, Miranda del Castañar, etc …

We also provide information on walking or cycling routes, and on canoeing in the reservoir.
Lovers of winter sports can practice their favourite sport at the nearby La Covatilla ski resort.
The Santa Teresa Reservoir appears in the nature textbooks as an important meeting point for migratory birds and a place where you can watch cranes. The Platform “Ver Aves” organises birdwatching day tips in Salvatierra. More information can be found here.
